Over 25 years as Head Legal Advisor at Panhellenic Medical Association and Supreme Disciplinary Council of Physicians. 

Member of the Union of Greek Criminologists. President of the Hellenic Medical Society (ed. 1988).

Director and editor of the Medical Law Journal (ΕID), (2009-2016).

Representative of Greece to the Standing Committee of European Physicians (CPME) (1995-2009) and UEMS (2009).

Founder of Medical Law in Greece, since 1985.

Member of the Three-member Ethics and Conduct Committee of the Academy of Athens (1991-2001). Member of the National Committee on AIDS (1990-1992). President of the Hellenic Society of Medical Ethics and Ethics (2008-2011), (Founding Member and Secretary-General from 1987-1991) (Founder: Prof. Dr. Spyros Doxiadis).
